An internal memo issued by the Office of the Registrar on February 18, 2026, outlines the new working hours, which will be in effect throughout the Ramadan fast. The memo, signed by Registrar Mustafa U. Migawa, aims to make the fasting period easier for staff members who observe it.
The revised working hours are as follows: · Mondays to Thursdays: Staff are to report at 8:00 am and close at 3:00 pm. · Fridays: The working hours are from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm.
Staff members have been advised to adhere strictly to the revised schedule for the duration of the fasting period. The university expressed its well-wishes to staff members, saying, 'The university wishes all members of staff a happy and fulfilling fasting period.'
