Kano State Polytechnic announces the commencement of its Full-time and Part-time Online Application for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

The application process is open to various programmes in Science, Technology, Engineering, Management, and Social Sciences, starting on Monday, 10th August, 2026.

For admission into the National Diploma (ND) programmes, applicants must have sat for the 2026 UTME and chosen Kano State Polytechnic as their first choice.

• Candidates who initially applied to other institutions but now wish to change their choice to Kano State Polytechnic should visit a designated CBT centre.
• They should change their institution of first choice to Kano State Polytechnic and thereafter proceed to complete the online application form.

Candidates with deficiencies in their Secondary School or JAMB examinations may apply for the Remedial and Basic Studies Programmes.

For admission into Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes, candidates must possess an ND certificate in the relevant field and one year of post-ND work experience certificate.

Admission requirements for Part-Time basis into ND programmes include possessing five (5) credits in relevant subjects.

• Those seeking admission into HND programmes must possess an ND certificate in the relevant course.
• Candidates seeking admission into Advanced Diploma Programmes must possess ND/OND certificates.

For ND II programmes (Direct Entry), candidates must possess OND/ND certificates from recognised TVET institutions.
