Applications are hereby invited for the ASUU Scholarship Award 2026.

The university is seeking eligible candidates to apply for the 2026 ASUU Scholarship, which is intended to support financially disadvantaged learners.

A. CRITERIA FOR AWARD

• Applicant must be an indigent student.
• Applicant must be a registered student of Obafemi Awolowo University.
• Applicant must have good academic performance (CGPA 3.0 and above).

B. MODE OF APPLICATION

• Each applicant should submit an application letter not exceeding two (2) pages, and the letter must contain:
• Name of candidate
• Course and year of study
• Email and phone number
• State of origin
• The application letter must be accompanied by the following documents:
• A photocopy of the candidate's current OAU student identity card.
• A letter from the candidate's present Head of Department confirming the candidate's CGPA/academic transcript for the preceding academic session.
• A copy of the candidate's registration form for the current semester.
• Two (2) recent passport‑size photographs.

C. SUBMISSION

• The fully completed application should be delivered in person to the Administrative Secretary (Mrs. Asunde – 08034455115) at the ASUU OAU Secretariat, located opposite the Centre for Gender and Social Policy Studies, no later than 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 23 September 2026.
