The University Management has been alerted to a counterfeit job posting circulating on social media under the headline “URGENT JOB VACANCY – FUNATO”. The advert asks applicants to forward their CVs to unknown WhatsApp numbers and falsely claims to be signed by Prof. LO Ojedapo, Deputy Vice‑Chancellor.

The general public is hereby informed that:

• The notice did not originate from the university.
• No university representative has given permission to publicise openings through private phone contacts.
• Authentic vacancies are posted solely on the university’s official website and in national newspapers.

The public is urged to ignore the fraudulent advert and avoid sending personal details or any money to the listed contacts.

Anyone who engages with the scammers does so at his or her own risk.
