The Office of the Dean, Student Affairs Division, University of Abuja, formally notifies all staff, students, stakeholders and the university community of a significant residential development.

The portal for hostel accommodation bookings will open on Monday, 26 October 2026. The schedule indicating the specific days and times for reservations will be posted on Wednesday, 21 October 2026.

This timeline is designed to allow students sufficient time to settle their tuition fees, as only those who have cleared their fees will be permitted to book a hostel room.

Students who have completed the Vulnerable Form (Special Needs Students) are instructed to appear for their hostel allocation starting Monday, 19 October 2026. Allocation will be limited to those whose medical certificates have been verified by the University of Abuja Clinic.

Students in their penultimate year, including IT students as previously approved by university management, will not be eligible for hostel accommodation in this session.

Consequently, all students must use the University Online Portal to submit their hostel requests. No one should visit the Office of the Dean, Student Affairs Division for allocation.

After a successful online reservation, the student must bring a printed copy of the booking confirmation to the Office of the Dean, Student Affairs Division for assignment of a bed space.
