ASUU Strike Update Day 89: FG And ASUU Currently In An Emergency Meeting

The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, and the Federal Government are currently in an emergency meeting geared towards ending the ongoing strike action by the union. We gathered that the meeting is holding at the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Abuja behind closed doors.

This is the ninth time the union will be meeting the Federal Government delegates to resolve the industrial action which has been on for almost three months.

If all goes well, we expect the ongoing strike action to finally come to an end.

Details on the outcome of the meeting will be updated soon.
