The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) is now accepting applications for its Post UTME/Direct Entry screening for the 2024/2025 academic session. The online registration process for all courses begins on 7th August and will close on 20th September 2024.

FUTA Post UTME Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the FUTA Post UTME, candidates must have achieved a minimum score of 180 in the 2024 UTME organized by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). Additionally, Direct Entry candidates who selected FUTA as their first choice are eligible to apply.

Candidates are also required to have secured at least five credit passes, including English and Mathematics, in no more than two sittings in their O’level exams, such as WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB.

How to Apply for FUTA Post UTME

Applicants should visit the FUTA application portal to fill out and submit the online Post UTME Application Form. Upon submission, ensure to print a copy of the Registration Form for your records.

Registration Steps

1. Access the University Website: Navigate to the FUTA application portal.
2. Enter Required Information: Carefully input your UTME Registration Number and full name exactly as they appear on your JAMB slip.
3. Complete and Submit: Finalize the registration process and print your Registration Form.

Screening Fee

The screening fee is ₦2,000, which can be paid at any bank using the Remita platform after generating the necessary payment code.

Please note that candidates who fail to complete their registration by the deadline will not be eligible to participate in the screening process.

Important Notes

• Applicants must be at least 16 years old by 1st October 2024 to qualify for admission.
• O’level results must be uploaded to JAMB CAPS and shared with FUTA no later than 20th September 2024.
• Failure to complete these steps will result in disqualification from the admission process.
