The University of Jos (UNIJOS) has unveiled the complete schedule for its 35th and 36th Combined Convocation Ceremonies, which will also mark the institution’s 50th Anniversary. The events are slated for Saturday, 13 December 2025.

According to the notice signed on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Tanko Ishaya, the Convocation will feature the award of Certificates, Diplomas, First Degrees, Higher Degrees, and Honorary Doctorate Degrees. The main ceremony begins at 10:00am at the Jeremiah Useni Stadium, Naraguta Campus.

Day One – Thursday, 11 December 2025

50th Anniversary Celebration Activities – 3:00pm
Venue: Social Sciences Auditorium, Naraguta Campus

Activities will hold across various university campuses.
Anniversary Lecture: Gen. Christopher Gwabin Musa, Minister of Defence.

Day Two – Friday, 12 December 2025

Convocation Lecture – 2:00pm
Venue: Ailya Ahwe Doma Indoor Theatre, Naraguta Campus

Convocation Lecturer:
