The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Oyo (FUNATO), Prof. Jacob Babayemi, has called on the management of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to grant prospective candidates additional time to change their choice of institution to FUNATO.
Following his appeal, JAMB has approved a one-week extension for access to its portal, providing candidates with a temporary window to update their institution of choice. The extension aims to allow interested candidates to complete the necessary steps without undue pressure, though the timeframe remains limited.
What The One-Week Extension Means
With the extra week, candidates wishing to select FUNATO can access the JAMB portal to update their choice of institution. They are also expected to complete any other required processes within this period to avoid complications later.
Advice to Candidates and Parents
Parents, guardians, and prospective candidates are urged to make full use of this one-week extension. Those intending to switch to FUNATO should act promptly, as the extension is temporary and will not be prolonged.
