The Lagos State University (LASU) has officially commenced its medical screening exercise for newly admitted students of the 2025/2026 academic session, as announced by the Directorate of Health Services.
The exercise is set to begin on Monday, 23rd February 2026, and will take place at the LASU Health Centre. To ensure a seamless process, the Directorate, in collaboration with the Directorate of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), will be grouping students into batches of 50 to 70 candidates per day. Each student will be assigned a specific date for the screening exercise, which they are expected to adhere to.
To avoid any disruptions to the screening process, students who fail to appear on their scheduled dates will be required to pay a penalty fee. The University has outlined guidelines to ensure a smooth and orderly exercise.
Newly admitted students are advised to follow these steps: 1. Visit the official LASU website to print out their scheduled medical screening date. 2. Report to the Outpatient Section of the LASU Health Centre on their assigned date, bringing along the required documents, which include a printed copy of their medical screening schedule, two recent passport photographs, and a copy of the receipt for payment of the medical screening fee.
The University urges all newly admitted students, parents, guardians, and members of staff to comply fully with the outlined schedule and requirements to ensure a hitch-free medical screening exercise.
