EKSU's 101st Inaugural Lecture For Students 2026

The Ekiti State University is set to host its 101st Inaugural Lecture, which will be delivered by Professor Timothy Adeyemi Akanbi, a renowned Professor of Linguistics.

The lecture is titled 'In the Beginning was Language: A Structural and Aesthetic Explosion of Human Language-The Yorubal Example'. It is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, 18th February, 2026, at the University Auditorium, starting at 2:00 pm prompt.

Professor Joseph Babatola Avodele, the Vice Chancellor, will chair the event. Guests are expected to be seated by 1:30 pm, 30 minutes before the lecture commences.
