Adeleke University, located in Ede, Osun State, has announced that it will be hosting its 5th Inaugural Lecture on Thursday, March 12, 2026.

The lecture, which is part of the university's tradition of showcasing academic excellence and intellectual contributions, will take place at the Performing Arts Theatre at 12:00 noon.

The title of the inaugural lecture is 'Wearing My Literary Garment of Many Colours to the Place Where Three Roads Meet'.

The lecture will be delivered by Professor Adegbite Oluwademilade Tobalase, a renowned scholar and Professor of African Literature, Culture, and Cultural Studies in the Department of Languages and Literary Studies. Professor Tobalase is known for his contributions to literary scholarship and cultural studies, and the lecture is expected to provide insights into African literary expression, interdisciplinary scholarship, and cultural intersections.

The event will be chaired by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Solomon Ajayi Adebola, while the Registrar, Mr. Gbadegesin Oladiti Lawal, will serve as the Secretary to the ceremony.
