The Bayelsa State College of Nursing Sciences has announced the commencement of the sale of application forms for the 2026 academic session. This admission cycle includes professional programs aimed at training healthcare providers in the region.
Application Window: Forms are available from April 13th, 2026, and the portal will remain open until July 10th, 2026.
Available Programmes include Community Nursing, Midwifery, and Post-Basic Nursing/Midwifery Programme.
To be eligible, applicants for Community Nursing and Midwifery must be at least 16 years old and possess WAEC/NECO/NABTEB results with at least 5 credits in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (obtained in no more than two sittings). For Post-Basic Nursing/Midwifery, applicants must hold valid RN or RM certificates.
To apply, interested candidates should visit the application portal at https://byscons.edu.ng/post-basic-and-community-programme/, make a non-refundable payment of N25,000.00, fill out the online application form accurately, and submit. Candidates should print the system-generated acknowledgement slip and payment receipt.
Entrance Examination Details: Candidates are expected to sit for a Computer Based Test (CBT) scheduled for July 18th, 2026, at 8:00 AM Prompt at the College CBT Center. Candidates must bring their original acknowledgement slip to the examination venue. To check admission status later, use your unique Application Number and Last Name on the official portal.
