Notice is given to all candidates who have chosen Adeleke University as their Institution of first choice, and those who did not choose, in the 2026/2027 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry, that the portal for registration for admission to the various programmes in the University is open.
Applicants must have uploaded their O’Level results on CAPS. Upon granting admission, candidates must either accept or reject the offer on CAPS before JAMB’s closure of CAPS for the exercise to enable them to be on JAMB National Matriculation list.
Admission into Adeleke University undergraduate programmes can be through UTME, Direct Entry, or Inter-University transfer entry. The admission requirements include a minimum age of 16 years as at August 31st, 2026, and possession of the minimum entry qualifications.
For some programmes, such as Law, Medical Laboratory Science, Nursing Science, Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS), and Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D), there will be a Post UTME Examination conducted by the university. Candidates seeking admission into the 100 Level must possess a minimum of five credits, including English Language and Mathematics, at the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE), Ordinary Level of the General Certificate Education (GCE 'O' Level), or the National Examinations Council (NECO) at TWO SITTINGS, except in (MBBS) and (Pharm. D) Programmes which require only ONE SITTING.
The available undergraduate courses include programmes from the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Business & Social Sciences, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Engineering, College of Medicine, and Faculty of Pharmacy.
The procedure for application is as follows: For UTME candidates, they must have 5 O’ Level Credits in relevant areas and meet the Joint Admission Matriculation Board’s cut-off mark. For Direct Entry (DE) candidates, they must have 5 O’ Level credits in relevant subjects and obtain the JAMB DE form for the year of admission.
