The Lagos State College of Nursing, Igando, is inviting applications from qualified candidates for admission into its National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) Non-Terminal Programme for the 2026/2027 session.
To be eligible, candidates must have scored 200 and above in the just concluded JAMB and chosen the Lagos State College of Nursing, Igando, as their First Choice Institution. They must also possess WASSCE/NECO (O' Level) with credits in five subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, at not more than two sittings.
The application period starts on Tuesday, 26th May 2026, and closes on Tuesday, 21st July 2026. The study period for the programme is 4 years, leading to a non-terminal programme of HND/RM/RPHN and a mandatory internship.
The Computer Assisted Screening examination is scheduled to hold on Saturday, 22nd August 2026, at 8:00 am, at the Lagos State College of Nursing, Igando, inside Alimosho General Hospital. The examination will be Computer-Based Testing, covering English language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Current Affairs.
To apply, candidates should proceed online to www.lascon.edu.ng, click on the Course menu, and then click on Apply. They will be required to create a new application account by filling in the requested details, including Surname, First name, Select Course, Email address, Phone number, and JAMB number.
After submitting their application, candidates will receive a confirmation mail containing a payment link, their Admission Number, and password. They will be required to make a payment of a Non-refundable fee of Twenty-Five Thousand naira (25,000) only.
Candidates will then be required to fill in their demographic information, address information, O' Level details, Parent/Guardian/Sponsor Details, upload their passport, and upload documents. They will also be required to change their password and lock their details.
Having filled all required details, candidates should click on the submit button and sign out. They should print out their Applicant Information Form, as only applicants with the form will be allowed to write the Computer Assisted Screening examination.
Note that applicants must be 17 years old before the end of the 2026 admission exercise. The first year School fees is N300,000.00 (Three Hundred Thousand Naira) only, payable before resumption, and a non-refundable acceptance fee of N100,000 (One Hundred Thousand naira) only. The training is residential.
