The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, in Ogun State, has announced its final admission exercise for the Higher National Diploma (HND) Weekend Programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.
Applications are invited from qualified candidates for admission into weekend programmes leading to the award of the Higher National Diploma (HND) qualification.
Registration is available online at www.federalpolyilaro.edu.ng, starting from Wednesday, 27th May, 2026, with a closing date of Monday, 27th July, 2026.
To apply, follow these steps:
Step 1: Visit the portal at www.federalpolyilaro.edu.ng, click on 'Portal' in the navigation bar, scroll down to 'New Application', and then click 'Online Admission'.
Step 2: Generate an invoice by filling in your personal details as they appear on your JAMB records and submitting them to generate your programme of study and payment invoice.
Step 3: Make a payment by taking the generated invoice to any of the designated banks, which include United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc, First Bank Plc, Polaris Bank, Wema Bank Plc, Access Bank Plc, First City Monument Bank, and Zenith Bank Plc, to obtain your Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number.
Step 4: Complete the application form by returning to the portal, clicking 'Fill Application Form', entering your RRR number, and completing all sections of the application form.
Important notes to consider:
- All personal details on the form must match exactly with your WAEC/NECO and JAMB records, as any discrepancy will disqualify the application. - Entrance examination dates will be announced on the institution's website and via applicants' personal email addresses. - All entrance examinations are computer-based (CBT), and candidates are advised to visit the website regularly for updates and notifications. - Provide valid personal phone numbers and email addresses on your form. - The polytechnic will not be liable for complications arising from payments made outside the official portal. - Any candidate found to be registered for a programme they are not qualified for will have their admission withdrawn.
