Delta State University, Abraka, has officially announced an extension for the 2026/2027 UTME and Direct Entry online screening application deadline.

The new deadline for prospective applicants to complete their registration is now July 13, 2026.

According to university officials, the reason behind this extension is to give candidates who recently changed their institution of first choice to DELSU sufficient time to finalize their online screening profiles.

The core admission parameters for this academic session remain unchanged:

• Minimum Cut-Off Mark: A minimum score of 150 in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) is required for eligibility.
• Screening Formula: The admission screening will utilize a composite grading system, which includes:
• 70% – JAMB UTME Score
• 30% – O'Level Results

Candidates who have not completed their applications, as well as those who recently switched their first-choice institution to DELSU, are advised to utilize this window and complete their online screening before the new July 13 deadline.
