The Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Students' Union Government has announced the commencement of NDLEA drug screening services within the university campuses.
This development follows a successful collaboration between the Students' Union Government, the University Management, and the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, Bauchi State Command.
The primary goal of this initiative is to make the screening process more accessible and convenient for students.
Effective Thursday, 9th July, 2026, NDLEA drug screening will take place at the following designated centres:
Students requiring NDLEA drug screening are advised to visit the designated University Clinic on their respective campuses to complete the exercise.
This new arrangement eliminates the need for students to travel outside the university, ensuring a more convenient and stress-free process.
The Students' Union Government encourages all students to take advantage of this initiative and cooperate fully with the NDLEA officials throughout the exercise.
The Union has expressed appreciation to the University Management and the NDLEA, Bauchi State Command, for their support and commitment to improving service delivery and promoting student welfare.
