The University community has been informed that the Vice Chancellor, Professor Tanko Ishaya, has approved the provision of school buses to facilitate the movement of staff and students. This initiative is designed to ease commuting challenges and includes security personnel on board for the safety of all passengers.
This provision takes effect from Monday, 13 April 2026, and will remain operational until the conclusion of the first-semester examinations. This service is provided at no cost to the beneficiaries.
The daily schedule for the buses is as follows: 07:00 AM: Departure to Campuses. 12:00 NOON: Departure from Campus. 12:30 PM: Afternoon pick-up for students. 05:00 PM: Final departure from school.
Buses will operate along the following designated routes: Bus 1: Plateau Private — Tina — Angwan Rukuba — Permanent Site Bus 2: Tina — Angwan Rukuba — Permanent Site Bus 3: Secretariat — British American — Terminus — Bauchi Road — Main Campus — Permanent Site Bus 4: Polo Round About — Farin Gada — Permanent Site
All staff and students are urged to be at their designated pick-up points on time to ensure a smooth operation.
