The University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) has announced that the registration portal for the 2nd Semester of both the 2025/2026 and 2024/2025 academic sessions is now open.

The Directorate of Examination and Results has released a protocol and level assignments to guide students through a successful registration process. Students are required to register based on the following groupings: Group 1 — CCMAS Students (23, 24 & 25 Set) for the 2025/2026 academic session in regular mode, Group 2 — BMAS Students (22 Set) for the 2025/2026 academic session in alternate mode, Group 3 — BMAS Students (17, 18, 19, 20 & 21 Set) for the 2024/2025 academic session in regular mode. Note that sets 17 & 18 apply to 5-year courses only.

The university has specified the level categories as follows: 4-year courses (19 Set): 600 Level, 4-year courses (20 Set): 500 Level, 5-year courses (17 Set): 800 Level, 5-year courses (18 Set): 700 Level, 5-year courses (19 Set): 600 Level.

Important registration guidelines include a deadline of Friday, 5th of June 2026, for all registrations to be completed. The registration portal can be accessed at https://portal.unicross.crossriverstate.gov.ng. It is vital to register according to the correct group and session to avoid academic record complications. Students currently on SIWES, Teaching Practice, and Practicum are also required to register for their respective courses. Additionally, students are strongly advised to avoid roadside cyber cafes for registration and to contact the University ICT Centre for any technical assistance.
