The University Management has reconstituted the Cult Renunciation, Reconciliation, Reformation, Rehabilitation and Interfaith Committee (CR^4IC). This committee is now chaired by the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Ekehuan Campus, Prof. B. A. Ayinde.
The decision to restructure the committee is part of the management's commitment to promoting peace and harmony within the university community. It aims to encourage dialogue, foster reconciliation, support rehabilitation initiatives, and promote interfaith coexistence.
According to the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Edoba B. Omoregie, SAN, the university is dedicated to sustaining a safe and inclusive academic environment. This environment is conducive for learning, teaching, research, and overall development. The university community is encouraged to cooperate with the committee and uphold the values of tolerance, discipline, unity, and peaceful coexistence.
