Lagos State University of Science and Technology management announces a mop-up exercise for the State of Origin Verification Exercise.

This exercise is specifically for candidates who missed the earlier screening, which took place from Wednesday, 17th June, 2026, to Friday, 19th June, 2026.

The mop-up exercise affects candidates who chose Lagos State as their state of origin and selected LASUSTECH as their first choice institution in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination conducted by JAMB or in the JAMB Direct Entry application for admission into the University. Registration for the screening exercise commences on Monday, 6th July, 2026, and ends at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, 22nd July, 2026.

The screening interview for candidates will hold on Thursday, 23rd July, 2026, from 9:00 am at the 500-seat capacity Agric Auditorium, Ikorodu.

APPLICATION & PAYMENT

Interested candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of N10,000.00 (Ten Thousand Naira) only via the official portal of Lagos State University of Science and Technology through this link: https://sove.lasustech.edu.ng. The University strictly warns against making any payment outside of the designated platform.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Please note that ONLY candidates of Lagos State Origin are eligible for the screening exercise. Candidates in this category are expected to be CLEARED by the State of Origin Verification Committee (SOVC) BEFORE they can process their POST UTME Screening forms.

• Candidates must have chosen LASUSTECH as their first choice institution
• Candidates must have scored 195 and above in the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME)
