Introduction

The Lagos State University of Science and Technology, Ikorodu has commenced its Post-UTME online admission screening exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session. This is to inform the general public, particularly candidates seeking admission, about the guidelines and requirements for the screening exercise.

ELIGIBILITY FOR SCREENING

• Candidates who chose the Lagos State University of Science and Technology as their first choice institution in the 2026 UTME and obtained a minimum UTME score of 195 are eligible.
• They must also possess the required O’Level subjects at credit level at not more than two sittings.
• Direct Entry candidates seeking admission into the university must have obtained the Direct Entry Form from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and chosen the Lagos State University of Science and Technology as their first choice institution.
• Only candidates of Lagos State Origin for 100 level and Direct Entry, who have proven their claims successfully before the State of Origin Verification Committee (SOVC), will be allowed to participate in the online admission screening exercise.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Candidates are required to make a payment of N2000.00 for Post UTME screening and N8000.00 administrative fee only to the Lagos State University of Science and Technology through this link: https://admission.lasustech.edu.ng. They must follow the instructions as stated in the procedure for LASUSTECH application for admission.

PERIOD OF THE SCREENING EXERCISE

The portal for the online screening will open at 12:00 a.m. on Wednesday, 1st July, 2026, and close at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, 31st July, 2026. Candidates should note this deadline to ensure they complete their application on time.

GENERAL INFORMATION

• Every candidate must satisfy the O’Level requirements of the programme of his/her choice before undertaking the post UTME screening.
• All candidates must upload their O’Level results on the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
• The screening exercise does not require the candidate's physical presence on the university campus.
