Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, has extended its online screening exercise for undergraduate programmes in the 2026/2027 academic session.

The extension was announced in a circular by the Academic Division on Thursday, July 30, 2026.

• The online screening exercise has been extended until August 31, 2026.
• This extension aims to give candidates awaiting O'Level examination results time to upload them on the JAMB admission portal before completing the screening process.

The university advised affected candidates to upload their O'Level results immediately after release and complete every requirement of the online screening exercise within the new deadline.

ATBU urged prospective students to utilize the extension, warning that only candidates who successfully complete the screening process within the approved period will be considered for admission.

The university stated that no additional extension will be granted after the expiration of the new deadline, urging applicants to avoid waiting until the last minute.
