The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) – Ambrose Alli University (AAU) Ekpoma Chapter – is calling for applications from qualifying indigent learners for its 2026 Annual Scholarship.

Overview

• Award Amount: N200,000 for each successful applicant.
• Target Beneficiaries: Indigent under‑graduates enrolled at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.
• Selection Basis: Proven financial need combined with academic merit.

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a verified indigent student.
• Must be a bona‑fide undergraduate of Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma.
• Must sustain a minimum CGPA of 3.00 or higher.

Application Requirements

Submit a handwritten application letter (no more than two pages) addressed to the Convener, ASUU Indigent Scholarship Committee 2026, ASUU Secretariat, Twin Lecture Theatre, AAU Ekpoma. The letter should contain:

• Full Name
• Course and Current Level of Study
• State of Origin
• Functional Phone Number

Required Supporting Documents:

• Photocopy of the current Student Identity Card
• Official letter from your Head of Department confirming your academic standing and CGPA for the last session
• Proof of course registration for the 2025/2026 Academic Session
• Printed copy of your Kofa Student Account statement showing the current CGPA, signed by your HOD
• Two (2) recent passport‑sized photographs

Submission Deadline & Details

All applicants must deliver the handwritten letter together with the supporting paperwork to the ASUU Secretariat no later than 2:00 PM on Monday, 21 September 2026.

Screening & Interview

Only candidates who make the short‑list will be summoned for a screening and interview carried out by the ASUU AAU Ekpoma Scholarship Committee to confirm both academic records and financial circumstances.
