The University of Nigeria (UNN) has made public the provisional admission roster for the 2026/2027 academic year. All aspirants who took part in the recent admission screening are invited to verify whether their names appear on the list of successful candidates.
The roster is now accessible through the JAMB CAPS portal. Candidates should follow the steps below to confirm their status:
If a candidate has been admitted, the system will display their photograph together with a congratulatory message. Conversely, those not yet offered a place will see a notice stating, "Sorry No Admission has been Given Yet."
Applicants who receive an admission offer may either accept or decline it by sending an SMS containing the word ACCEPT or REJECT to 55019 or 66019, using the phone number linked to their JAMB profile.
The acceptance window remains open for four weeks. Individuals whose registered mobile numbers are unavailable must visit a JAMB‑accredited centre to submit their response.
It is essential for successful candidates to print their admission letters after confirming acceptance, as the document will be required during clearance and registration at the university.
Note for mobile users: the ‘Admission Status’ option may not appear on the mobile view of CAPS, showing only a welcome screen instead. To see the full page, switch to desktop mode—Chrome’s “Request desktop site” feature works well for this purpose.
Congratulations to all students who have secured admission!
