The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) has made public the provisional admission list for the 2026/2027 academic session. This announcement is directed at all aspirants who took part in the 2026/2027 Admission Screening Exercise, inviting them to verify whether their names appear among the successful candidates.
The roster of admitted students has been uploaded to the JAMB CAPS portal. Candidates should follow the steps below to confirm their status:
If the system recognizes you as admitted, it will display your photograph along with a congratulatory message confirming the offer. Conversely, if no offer has been recorded, the portal will return the phrase “Sorry No Admission has been Given Yet.”
Candidates who receive a positive admission notice are required to respond by sending either the word ACCEPT or REJECT via SMS to 55019 or 66019, using the mobile number that is linked to their JAMB profile.
A period of four weeks is allotted for applicants to communicate their decision. Those whose registered phone numbers are unavailable must visit a JAMB‑accredited centre to submit their acceptance or rejection.
It is crucial for successful candidates to print the admission letter after confirming acceptance, as the printed document will likely be needed during the clearance and registration procedures at the university.
Note: Mobile browsers may not display the full “Admission Status” option on CAPS; many phone users only see a welcome screen. To view the complete page, switch to desktop mode—Chrome is recommended. In Chrome, select the menu option “Request desktop site” to load the full interface.
Congratulations to all students who have secured admission!
