The Student Union Government (SUG) at TASUED has taken note of a sharp rise in the fees charged for transactions on the university’s payment portal. Recent observations indicate that the cost per transaction has risen markedly, prompting alarm among the student body.
This abrupt and considerable escalation has sparked serious worry, as many students fear the added financial strain could affect their ability to meet tuition and other obligations.
Consequently, the SUG advises every student to pause any payments through the portal until the matter is fully examined and the charges are reviewed and, if necessary, corrected by the relevant authorities.
Students are urged to stay calm, exercise patience, and refrain from completing any portal transactions until an official clarification and update are issued.
The union also requests that this advisory be circulated widely across departmental, college and hostel communication channels so that no student misses the warning.
Protecting the financial welfare of the entire student community remains the top priority, and the SUG stands united in demanding fair treatment for all students.
