UNIJOS: 122nd Inaugural Lecture (2026)

The University of Jos (UNIJOS) has announced the 122nd Professorial Inaugural Lecture, which is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 21st of April 2026. The lecture will be delivered by Professor Nankap Latur Binbol from the Department of Geography and Planning.

The topic of the lecture is 'Understanding Droughts: A panacea for National Food Security.' It will be held at the Aliyu Akwar Doma Theatre, located within the Faculty of Arts, Naraguta Campus, UNIJOS, at 02:00 p.m. Guests are expected to be seated by 01:30 p.m.
