The Students’ Union Government (SUG) has announced an update on course registration for affected graduates. Recently, SUG President, Comr. Ugoani Emmanuel, met with Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ndukwe Okeudo, to discuss the reopening of the course registration portal for students who have already graduated but were unable to complete their registration.
During the meeting, Comr. Emmanuel presented the concerns of the affected students and emphasized the importance of resolving the outstanding course registration issues. The Vice-Chancellor received the matter with understanding and consideration.
As a result, the Vice-Chancellor has agreed to propose the reopening of the course registration portal for a period of three months at the upcoming Senate meeting on Wednesday, 29th April, 2026. The SUG President has expressed appreciation to the Vice-Chancellor for his willingness to address this matter in the interest of fairness and academic progress.
The Students’ Union Government urges all affected students to remain calm, hopeful, and patient as the process unfolds. The SUG remains committed to prioritizing and protecting the interests of all students. Further updates will be communicated in due course.
