The University of Ilorin has announced its 297th Inaugural Lecture, set for the 2025/2026 academic session, as part of its tradition of showcasing scholarly excellence and intellectual contributions to national development.
The upcoming lecture, titled “From Wobbling to Thriving Development: The Transformative Power of Adult Learning and Education for Sustainable Futures,” will explore the critical role of adult education in fostering sustainable growth, societal transformation, and long-term development.
The lecture will be delivered by Professor Ayodele Anthony Fajonyomi, a distinguished academic from the Department of Adult and Primary Education, Faculty of Education, University of Ilorin. Professor Fajonyomi is expected to provide insightful perspectives on how adult learning can drive sustainable futures and national progress.
