To Enhance Timely Commencement of Academic Activities

All Deans and Heads of Departments are requested to ensure that lectures start as scheduled on Monday, 10th August 2026. This initiative aims to address the delays that have plagued the commencement of lectures in previous semesters.

Monitoring and Supervision

Deans and Heads of Departments are further requested to intensify monitoring and supervision. This will ensure that lectures commence promptly and are conducted as scheduled. Lecturers are advised to engage and teach students who resume as scheduled, regardless of class size, as if they were teaching a full class.

Monitoring Visits

The Office of Academic Planning & Quality Assurance, in collaboration with the Information Unit, will conduct monitoring visits. These visits will observe and document the commencement of lectures. Reports of these observations will be submitted to the appropriate University authorities and communicated to the wider University community where necessary.
