Shehu Shagari University of Education, Sokoto, has issued a directive to candidates seeking admission into the university for the 2026/2027 academic session.
They are required to upload their Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination results on the JAMB portal. This directive is for candidates who selected the university as their first-choice institution and scored a minimum of 150 in the 2026 UTME, as well as Direct Entry candidates.
According to the university, candidates must upload their O’Level results, including WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, and other recognised results, at any JAMB-accredited CBT centre. To be eligible, candidates must possess at least five credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings.
Candidates who did not initially choose the university as their first-choice institution are advised to visit a JAMB-accredited CBT centre to process a Change of Institution and make Shehu Shagari University of Education their first choice.
The university has stated that only candidates who have successfully uploaded their O’Level results on the JAMB portal will be considered for admission processing.
For further enquiries, candidates can contact the university via info@ssues.edu.ng. Candidates are advised to ensure that their O’Level results are successfully uploaded on the JAMB portal to avoid being excluded from the admission processing.
