Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka has announced the schedule for its 2024/2025 POST-UTME and DIRECT ENTRY screening exercise. This screening is for candidates who selected the University as their first choice in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry (DE), as well as all Nnamdi Azikiwe University Affiliate Institutions.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Candidates who chose Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka or its affiliate institutions as their first choice and meet the required cut-off mark can apply.
2. Candidates who did not initially choose NAU but scored the eligible cut-off marks for any faculty/program can also apply, provided they visit the JAMB website to change their institution.
3. Direct Entry candidates must possess OND/HND/First Degree or A’Level qualifications in relevant disciplines and subjects.

Faculties/Programmes with a Cut-Off Mark of 200

• Law, Medicine & Surgery, Pharmacy
• Health Science & Technology: Environmental Health Science, Human Nutrition, Medical Laboratory Science, Medical Rehabilitation/Physiotherapy, Nursing Science, Radiography

Faculties/Programmes with a Cut-Off Mark of 180

• Arts: Chinese, English Language, History, Linguistics, Philosophy, and Theater Arts
• Basic Medical Science: Anatomy and Physiology
• Biosciences: Applied Biochemistry, Applied Microbiology
• Engineering: Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics & Computer, Mechanical & Petroleum
• Management Sciences: Accountancy, Business Administration
• Physical Sciences: Computer Science
• Social Sciences: Economics, Mass Communication, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology

Faculties/Programmes with a Cut-Off Mark of 160

• Agriculture, Education, Environmental Sciences
• Arts: Igbo, Religion, Modern European Language, and Music
• Biosciences: Botany, Parasitology & Entomology, Zoology
• Engineering: Agricultural & Bioresources, Industrial Production, Metallurgical & Materials, Polymer & Textile

Faculties/Programmes with a Pass Mark of 150

• All Affiliate Institutions

Registration Procedures

Registration starts on Thursday, 1st August 2024, and ends on Saturday, 31st August 2024.

1. Change of course or institution into Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka (and its affiliate institutions) must be completed by Friday, 23rd August 2024. Changes made after this date will not be valid.
2. The compulsory upload of O'Level results (and A'Level results for DE candidates) on JAMB CAPS must also be completed by Friday, 23rd August 2024.
3. Visit http://apply.unizik.edu.ng to start your application.
   • Create a UNIZIK application account by providing your email, phone number, and password.
   • Validate your account using the code sent to your email/phone number.
   • Log in with your username and password.
   • Click on the 2024 Post-UTME application link.
   • Link your JAMB registration profile to your account.
   • Pay the sum of N2000 naira online using the payment invoice or at the bank.
   • Return to the portal to provide your date of birth, next of kin information, and O'Level results.
   • Submit your application form.
   • You will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your application.

For Direct Entry Candidates

In addition to the above steps, DE candidates must ensure their academic transcripts are sent to the Registrar, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, and hard copies of their JAMB E-slip, O'Level results, OND/HND/First Degree or A'Level results are submitted to the Office of the Deputy Registrar (Admissions) by Friday, 23rd August 2024. Candidates whose transcripts are not received before the deadline will not be considered for admission.

Time & Requirements for the Screening Exercise

• Monitor your personal phone number, email, and the UNIZIK website for more details on the screening exercise. Candidates are advised to obtain the official UNIZIK Post-UTME Past Questions and Answers to prepare adequately for the screening.
• Only candidates who register online will be eligible for the screening exercise.
• You must upload your O'Level results (and A'Level results for DE candidates) on JAMB CAPS to be considered for admission.

Caution

• The University will not be responsible for any payment made with an incorrect JAMB registration number at the bank.
• The University is not liable for any fraudulent payments made outside of its specified directives.
