The University of Benin (UNIBEN) has officially released its Post-UTME Screening Form for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Prospective candidates should familiarize themselves with the screening details to ensure they are adequately prepared.

Eligibility for UNIBEN Post UTME

• Only candidates who applied through JAMB for the 2024/2025 UTME admission are eligible.
• Applicants must have selected UNIBEN as their first choice.
• A minimum score of 200 in the UTME is required.
• Candidates must have at least five credit passes in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or an equivalent examination.
• These credits should include English Language and Mathematics, along with three other relevant subjects, obtained in no more than two sittings.
• A valid email account is essential before beginning the application process.

Step-by-Step Application Process

• Applications are open from 8:00 a.m. on Friday, 16th August 2024, and will close at midnight on Friday, 13th September 2024.

Starting Point:

• Ensure that you have an active email account.
• Visit the official UNIBEN website.

Student Portal:

• Navigate to the ‘Student Portal’ and select the WAEUP Portal.

Registration:

• Click on ‘Register for application’ located at the top left corner.
• Enter your surname and JAMB Registration number to obtain your ID and password.

Login and Application:

• Use your username and password to log into the WAEUP KOFA Student Portal.
• Select ‘Application record’ and provide all necessary details, including uploading your passport photograph.

Photo Specifications:

• A recent “1 x 1” colour passport photo with a red background in JPEG format is required.
• This image will be used as the ID for students who are admitted to UNIBEN.

Payment:

• The application fee is Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00).
• Payment can be made at any commercial bank in Nigeria using an ATM-enabled card.
• Follow the on-screen instructions after selecting “pay via Remita.”

Finalising Application:

• Review all provided information carefully before submitting.
• No changes can be made after the application deadline.

Print Documents:

• After submission, return online on the specified date to print the acknowledgment slip and the screening invitation slip.

Screening Details and Course Groupings

The Post-UTME Screening Exercise for the 2024/2025 session is scheduled from Monday, 7th October 2024, to Saturday, 12th October 2024.

Screening will take place at designated centres within the Ugbowo Campus, utilizing the Computer-Based Test (CBT) format.

Candidates are required to be seated at least one hour before their assigned screening time.

Return online on 27th September 2024 to print the acknowledgment slip, which will include your specific screening schedule.

All applications must be completed online by this date. Candidates who fail to make payment by the deadline will not be eligible for screening.
