The Federal University, Gashua (FUGASHUA) has released the Post UTME/Direct Entry Screening Form for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Candidates who have chosen FUGASHUA as their first choice in either UTME or Direct Entry are encouraged to participate in this screening process.

This screening is essential for those aspiring to gain admission into FUGASHUA.

Eligibility Criteria for FUGASHUA Post UTME/Direct Entry

UTME Candidates

• Only candidates who selected FUGASHUA as their first choice and scored 140 or above in their JAMB exams are eligible for the screening.

Direct Entry (DE) Candidates

• Direct Entry candidates must have chosen FUGASHUA as their first choice.
• Candidates should have obtained a Distinction, Credit, or Merit in NCE or IJMB with a minimum of 6 points.
• Alternatively, candidates with a Higher National Diploma (HND) with at least a Lower Credit, or an Upper Credit in Ordinary National Diploma (OND), are eligible.

Application Process for FUGASHUA Post UTME

Stage One: Visit the Official Website

• Begin by visiting the FUGASHUA official website.
• Prepare to pay a non-refundable registration fee of N2,000, excluding bank charges.

Stage Two: Registration

• Go to the FUGASHUA application website and click on ‘Register’ to create your screening account.
• Enter your JAMB registration number, first name, surname, entry mode (UTME/DE), and a valid email address.
• Choose a secure password that includes uppercase letters and numbers.

Stage Three: Payment and Confirmation

• After account creation, a confirmation link will be sent to your email.
• Follow the link to proceed to the payment page.
• Payments can be made via bank or ATM.
• For bank payments, print the RRR invoice and complete your payment at any commercial bank.
• For ATM payments, follow the on-screen instructions to finish the transaction.

Stage Four: Further Documentation

• After payment, log back into the website with your credentials.
• Complete your registration by providing the following details:
  • First and second UTME choices
  • UTME subject combinations and score
  • Bio-data and a recent passport photograph
  • O’ Level credits, including Mathematics and English, in no more than two sittings
  • Details of previous educational institutions attended and qualifications obtained

Stage Five: Document Upload

• Upload scanned copies of your certificates and results on the document upload page.

Stage Six: Final Confirmation

• Upon final submission, a confirmation message will appear stating, “Application Submitted Successfully, It Cannot Be Altered. Thanks.”

Important Notes

• The deadline for submission is 13th September 2024.
• There will be no physical screening or aptitude tests.
• Admission status will be communicated through CAPS, text messages, and updates on your online portal.
