UNN Releases 2025/2026 Direct Entry And JUPEB Admission Lists

Nov, 08Views: 23

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has officially released the Direct Entry and JUPEB admission lists for the 2025/2026 academic session. Candidates who applied through either of these entry routes can now check their admission status and proceed with the necessary registration steps to confirm their admission.

The full lists of admitted candidates are available on the UNN Direct Entry/JUPEB Admission List page.

Next Steps for Successfully Admitted Candidates

All candidates offered provisional admission must complete the following steps without delay:

1. Upload of O’Level Results

Candidates who have not uploaded their O’Level results to the JAMB portal must do so immediately through any JAMB-approved CBT centre.
Failure to upload these results will prevent JAMB from processing or confirming the admission on CAPS.

2. Change of Course (If Applicable)

Candidates offered admission into a different programme from their initial JAMB choice are required to visit a JAMB-accredited CBT centre to apply for a Change of Course to the one recommended by UNN.
After completing the change, candidates should print their updated admission status from JAMB CAPS and submit a copy to the UNN Admissions Office for verification.

3. Acceptance of Admission on JAMB CAPS

Candidates must log in to the JAMB portal to accept their admission offer.
Those who fail to do so will not be issued an official JAMB Admission Letter and will be considered not admitted.

4. Payment of Acceptance Fee

Admitted candidates are to pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of Thirty Thousand Naira (₦30,000) using the following procedure:

  • Visit the UNN website or student portal.

  • Log in with your JAMB registration number to generate a payment invoice with a Remita number.

  • Make the payment at any commercial bank, including UNN Microfinance Bank.

  • Obtain a payment confirmation slip showing your confirmation and invoice numbers.

5. Printing of Admission Slip and Completion of Acceptance Form

After payment, return to the UNN portal and log in using your JAMB registration numberconfirmation number, and invoice number.
Print your admission slip and complete the online acceptance form.

6. Registration and Further Payments

After completing the acceptance process, candidates should proceed with all other payments and registration steps as outlined on the UNN website.

Important Notice

All admissions are strictly provisional.
If at any point it is discovered that a candidate does not meet the Senate-approved entry requirements as stated in the JAMB Brochure, the admission offer will be automatically withdrawn.

The management of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka congratulates all newly admitted students through the Direct Entry and JUPEB programmes. The University looks forward to welcoming them to campus and wishes them a rewarding and fulfilling academic journey at one of Nigeria’s foremost institutions of higher learning.
