The Students' Representative Council (SRC) of Saa’adu Zungur University in Bauchi State has released an important notice to all students, underscoring the necessity of carrying their School Identification (ID) Cards at all times.
In a notice issued on Friday, the SRC emphasized the critical role of the ID card as a primary means of verification for students, applicable both within the university and outside its premises. The council highlighted that the ID card is indispensable not only in academic settings but also in emergency situations, security checks, or any unforeseen incidents where proof of student status is required.
The SRC cautioned that students who fail to produce a valid ID card when requested by a lecturer or authorized personnel may be assumed to lack proof of being a bona fide student.
The notice strongly advised students to take this matter seriously and make it a habit to always carry their ID cards with them.
Students who have not yet obtained their ID cards were urged to do so immediately upon their return to campus. The notice concluded with the slogan, 'SRC CARES !!!'
This directive is aimed at enhancing security and streamlining identification processes across the university community.
