The University of Uyo has made a significant appointment, naming Professor Kingsley Udofia of the Faculty of Engineering as the new Dean of Students. As a renowned figure in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Professor Udofia boasts an impressive reputation both nationally and internationally, thanks to his extensive research and numerous publications.

In a related move, Dr. Iniubong Ansa, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Geography and Natural Resources Management within the Faculty of Social Sciences, has been appointed as the Vice Dean of Students. Dr. Ansa is highly regarded for his expertise in Development Economics and Environmental Management, with a particular focus on socio-economic development, governance, and ensuring sustainable access to essential services.
