The University of Uyo has made a significant appointment, naming Professor Kingsley Udofia of the Faculty of Engineering as the new Dean of Students. In a related move, Dr. Iniubong Ansa, a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Geography and Natural Resources Management within the Faculty of Social Sciences, has been appointed as the Vice Dean of Students. Dr. Ansa is highly regarded for his expertise in Development Economics and Environmental Management, with a particular focus on socio-economic development, governance, and ensuring sustainable access to essential services.
