UNIJOS: New Date For 120th Inaugural Lecture

The University of Jos has rescheduled its 120th Professorial Inaugural Lecture, which was initially set for March 31st, 2026. The lecture will now take place on Tuesday, April 14th, 2026.

The inaugural lecturer is Professor Yohana Chanle Sati from the Department of Architecture. The topic of the lecture is 'Green spaces in Architectural Urban Composition: Jos Cemetery as a living memory among the living in Jos Metropolis.'

The event will be held at the Aliyu Akwar Doma Theatre, located within the Faculty of Arts at the Naraguta Campus, Unijos. The lecture is scheduled to start at 01:00 p.m., and guests are expected to be seated by 12:30 p.m.
