The Caretaker Committee recently convened with the Dean of Student Affairs to review matters affecting student welfare, with particular attention to the availability of water on campus.
Following that discussion, all students are hereby informed that during periods of heightened demand – notably lecture weeks when many are hurrying to class – each student should bring no more than two (2) buckets when collecting water from the morning tap.
- Each student may carry up to two buckets when fetching water in the morning.
This guideline is intended to promote fairness, ease congestion at the water points, and give every student a reasonable opportunity to obtain water before lectures commence.
The university appeals to every student to cooperate, show consideration for peers, and respect the new arrangement. Your understanding and compliance are greatly appreciated.
