How To Calculate Ekiti State University (EKSU) UTME/POST-UTME 2015/2016 Aggregate Score

Your success is our success that is why we have put this together to help you prepare hard for 2015/2016 POST-UTME... read more

Recommended: EKSU Post UTME / Admission Screening Form - 2016/2017 [Update]

Here is how to calculate your Ekiti State University (EKSU's) JAMB-UTME/POST-UTME aggregate score

Your JAMB score divided by 8 and anything you score in your POST-UTME divided by 30 multiplied by 50, so your JAMB is over 50 and your POST-UTME is over 50.

The addition of both gives you your overall percent. If you have anything less than 50, there is no hope for you in Ekiti State University (EKSU) and dont let anybody scam you. You can try your second choice or polytechnics.

Example:

If you get 280/400 in JAMB, 280/8=35

and get 15 in EKSU's POST-UTME, (15/30)*50 = 25

The aggregate is the addition of the two which is in percentage; (35 + 25 ) = 60%

This aggregate score is pretty good.

NOTE: to be considered for screening (in any course), your aggregate score must be greater than or equal to 50% (this applies to many other universities too).

Departmental cut-off marks are yet to be released. We'd update you as soon as they are released.

Share ur score here (it will encourage others).

i wanna study Economics,i had 225 in jamb and 31.70 in post utme.wen i calculated my aggregate
i divided 225\8: 28.125
i divided my post ume score, 31.70\30: 1.1
then i multiplied it by 50: 1.1X50:55
so my agrregate percent ova 100 is 83.125%
but the case here is am not from ekiti and did not pick EKSU as my most preferred institution in jamb
I guess 31.70 is your calculated post-UTME average. You don\'t need to divide it by anything.

You did not choose them in JAMB? How do you mean? And let's wait for the cut-off mark before we conclude.

What is the difference? I guess it's the POST-UTME score right? EKSU has done all the (your real score/30)*50 for you so the result you see is just the final one i.e 25/50 then you add it to your (JAMB score divided by 8). Leave a reply is still confused.

That's what we have up there. The post-UTME has been calculated for you already so divide your JAMB score by 8 and add it to your post-UTME score.
