The Students' Union Government of FULOKOJA has issued an urgent alert to students regarding the recent cases of insecurity reported around Felele, particularly in areas such as Small NNPC, Indori, and other affected locations within the Felele axis.
In response to these disturbing developments, the SUG leadership has been proactive and fully engaged, holding a series of meetings with the relevant security agencies to strengthen surveillance, improve response time, and ensure that necessary measures are put in place to curb these security challenges.
The SUG wishes to assure students that their safety and welfare remain the highest priority. However, security is a collective responsibility, and the Union appeals to all students to cooperate with them and security agencies during this critical period by remaining vigilant and security conscious at all times.
To minimize exposure to danger, students are strongly advised to avoid running generators throughout the night until daybreak, as continuous generator use late into the night can attract unwanted attention to buildings. Generators should be switched off by 12:00 midnight at the latest. Students residing in Indori are also advised not to renew their tenancy agreements once they expire, as part of precautionary safety measures at this time.
The SUG encourages everyone to stay alert, avoid unnecessary late-night movements, and promptly report any suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities or the SUG. The Students' Union Government remains fully committed to restoring calm and ensuring a safe environment for all students.
