The Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic community has expressed serious concern over the rising cases of indecent dressing among staff and students. This trend is deemed unacceptable and inconsistent with the institution's values, standards, and image.
In response, the management has re-established the Committee on Indecent Dressing to monitor compliance with the polytechnic's dress code and enforce discipline when necessary. All staff and students are reminded that the polytechnic is a place of learning and must be treated with dignity and respect.
Dressing is expected to be decent, modest, and professional at all times within the campus and during official hours. Any staff or student found violating the dress code will face disciplinary measures in accordance with the polytechnic's rules and regulations.
Deans, heads of departments, and unit heads are directed to ensure strict compliance within their respective schools, departments, and units. All members of the polytechnic community are advised to adhere to the dress code to maintain a respectful and professional environment.
