Edo State University, located in Iyamho, Edo State, is set to award partial scholarships to deserving indigent students of Edo State origin. The scholarships are open to students who scored a minimum of 180 in the UTME.
The Edo State Government has approved up to 100 indigent scholarships, which will cover tuition fees for the duration of any chosen programme, excluding fields like Medicine, Nursing, Law, Medical Laboratory Science, and Engineering.
To be eligible, candidates must be of Edo State origin, have scored at least 180 in the UTME for the 2025/2026 Admission Exercise, and demonstrate a high mastery of written and spoken English through a Computer-Based Test (CBT). They must also show evidence of indigency and meet the entry requirements for their course of study.
The application process is online, and interested candidates can apply at https://edouniversity.edu.ng/scholarship. The deadline for application is 10th March, 2026, and the CBT screening and interview will take place on 19th March, 2026. Note that the university is not obligated to award these scholarships to any candidate.
