Bayero University Kano, via its College of Health Sciences and the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, will conduct a unified induction ceremony for graduates from five professional courses.

The gathering is intended to mark the transition of these students into qualified health practitioners.

The event will honor the 5th cohort of Doctor of Optometry, the 12th batch of Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science, the 12th group of Bachelor of Nursing Sciences, the 12th cohort of Bachelor of Radiography, and the 28th class of Bachelor of Physiotherapy graduates.

It is slated for Thursday, 24 September 2026, commencing at 09:00 hours.

The venue is the Convocation Arena on BUK’s New Site in Kano.

Prof. Haruna Musa, Vice‑Chancellor of Bayero University Kano, will act as Chief Host, and Prof. Kamilu M. Karaye, Provost of the College of Health Sciences, will serve as Host.

Prof. Abdurrahman Abba Sheshe, Chief Medical Director of Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, will chair the occasion, and Prof. Saleh Ngaski Garba, Dean of the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, will act as Co‑Host.
