The Management of Sa'adatu Rimi College of Education has issued a directive through the Students’ Union Government (S.U.G) regarding motorcycle operations within the college premises. This notice applies to all students, staff, and visitors with immediate effect.
Motorbike riders are strictly prohibited from carrying more than one passenger at a time. This ban on 'double-carrying' applies regardless of the gender of the passengers.
The policy aims to ensure safety by protecting lives and property through the prevention of accidents caused by overloading, reduce reckless riding behaviors on campus roads for better traffic control, and maintain discipline and organized movement within the college environment for campus order.
Any individual found violating this directive will face disciplinary action, which may include the immediate seizure of the motorcycle and further sanctions as determined by the college authorities. All members of the college community are advised to comply strictly with this regulation to avoid penalties or embarrassment. Cooperation is essential for a safer campus.
The directive was signed by Comrade Faisal Yusuf (Vejour), Public Relations Officer (PRO1) of Sa'adatu Rimi College of Education, Kumbotso, Kano, with contact information provided as 08132209595.
