Achievers University has secured full accreditation for seven academic programmes from the National Universities Commission (NUC), following an assessment exercise conducted in October/November 2025. The accredited programmes include Medical Laboratory Science, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Microbiology, Criminology and Security Studies, and Sociology. In a formal correspondence to the University dated 7th April, 2026, and signed by the Commission’s Director of Accreditation, the NUC confirms that all the programmes presented by the University met the Commission’s rigorous quality assurance standards, covering curriculum content, staffing, infrastructure, library resources, and academic delivery. Full accreditation is the highest status granted by the Commission and is valid for a period of five years. The Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oyesoji Aremu, announced the achievement to the University community, describing it as a major boost to the institution’s academic profile and a validation of its commitment to excellence. He congratulated the Governing Council, led by the Pro-Chancellor, Professor Bode Ayorinde, Principal Officers, Deans, and Heads of Departments, and the entire University community. Professor Aremu urged members of the University community to remain committed to upholding and advancing the high standards of excellence for which the institution is renowned, even as it draws encouragement from this achievement.
