Applications are invited from qualified candidates for admission into the Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes and Professional Diploma in Building Technology and Urban & Regional Planning programmes at Auchi Polytechnic for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

The HND programmes are available in various disciplines across different schools, including the School of Agricultural Technology, School of Applied Sciences and Technology, School of Art and Industrial Design, School of Administration, Business and Management, School of Engineering Technology, School of Environmental Studies, School of Financial Studies, and School of Information and Communication Technology.

For admission into the HND programmes, candidates must possess the National Diploma (ND) of the Polytechnic or an equivalent qualification from other similar Institutions whose programmes have earned NBTE Accreditation. Candidates must also ensure they were offered admission through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and have an admission letter and registration number from JAMB for the National Diploma programme.

In addition to specific departmental requirements, candidates must possess five Ordinary Level credit passes at not more than two sittings, which must include Mathematics and English Language in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB examination. A minimum of one year Post National Diploma (ND) Industrial Experience (IT) or two years Post National Diploma Industrial Experience for candidates with a pass grade at the National Diploma level is also required.

The Polytechnic also offers Professional Diploma in Building Technology and Urban & Regional Planning. For the Professional Diploma in Building Technology, candidates must possess a minimum of a lower credit pass in the Higher National Diploma (HND) in Building Technology obtained from an institution whose programme has earned NBTE accreditation or any equivalent qualification. For the Professional Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning, a minimum of upper credit in Urban and Regional Planning in Higher National Diploma (HND) from Auchi Polytechnic or any recognized institution whose programmes are accredited by NBTE is required.
