College of Agriculture Jalingo, COAJALINGO admission form for the 2016/2017 academic session is now on sale.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for Admission into the Higher National Diploma (HND), National Diploma (ND), and Preliminary Higher National Diploma (Pre-HND), Preliminary National Diploma (Pre-ND) and Certificate Course in the following Programmes:-

COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE JALINGO PROGRAMMES & REQUIREMENTS.

1.0 HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA PROGAMMES.

The College Offers National Diploma in the Following Course:-
i. Higher National Diploma in Agric Extension and Management.
ii. Higher National Diploma in Home and Rural Economics.
iii. Higher National Diploma in Animal Health Technology.
iv. Higher National Diploma in Animal Production Technology.
v. Higher National Diploma in Agric Engineering Technology.
vi. Higher National Diploma in Forestry Technology.
vii. Higher National Diploma in Crop Production Technology.

A. General Entry Requirement:-
All Candidates seeking Admission into any of our Higher National Diploma Programs must possess the following General Entry Qualifications:-

   i. Minimum of Four (4) Ordinary level Credit Passes in WAEC, GSE, NCO or NABTEB in not more than Two (2)    sittings. Also, They Should Passes at least in English Language, Mathematics, and Chemistry.
   ii. Those with Minimum of Lower Credit Should have at least One Year Working Experience While Those with Passes    Should have at least Three Years Working Experience.

B. Specific Entry Requirements:-

i. HND IN AGRIC EXTENSION AND MANNAGEMENT.
Candidates Seeking Admission into the Higher National Diploma in Agric Extension and Management must Passes the Following Entry Qualifications:-
   (a). National Diploma Certificate in Agricultural Related Programmes from the College or from any other Recognize    College of Agriculture in the Country.
   (b). The (4) Credit Passes Indicated above must includes the followings:- Chemistry, Biology, or Health Science,    General Science and Agricultural Sciences.

ii. HND IN HOME AND RURAL ECONOMICS.
Candidates seeking Admission into the Higher National Diploma in Home and Rural Economics must Passes National Certificate in Home and Rural Economics or any other relevant Courses from the College or any other Recognized Institution in the Country.

iii. HND IN ANIMAL HEALTH TECHNOLOGY.
Candidates seeking Admission into the Higher National Diploma in Animal Health Technology must passes the followings:-

   (a) All the Requirements for Admission into the Higher National Diploma Program in Animal Health and Production.
   (b) A Minimum of Lower Credit and Above in Cognate Examination in Animal Health and Production.

iv. HND ANIMAL PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY.
Candidates seeking Admission into the Higher National Diploma in Animal Production Technology must Passes the followings:-

   (a) All the Requirements for Admission into the Higher National Diploma in Animal and Production.
   (b) A Minimum of Lower Credit and above in Cognate Examination in Health and Production.

v. HND IN AGRIC ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY.
Candidates seeking Admission into the Higher National Diploma in Agric Engineering Technology must have a Minimum of Lower Credit in Agricultural Engineering Technology or any other relevant programme from the College or any other Recognized Institution in the Country.

vi. HND IN FORESTRY TECHNOLOGY.
Candidate seeking Admission into the Higher National Diploma in Forestry Technology must Passes at least a National Diploma with a Lower Credit in Forestry or Agricultural Technology or any other related Course from the College or any other Recognized Institution in the Country.

vii. HND IN CROP PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY.
Candidates seeking Admission into the Higher National Diploma in Crop Production Technology must Passes at least a Lower Credit in Agricultural Technology or any other related Course from the College or any other Recognized Institution in the Country.

2.0 NATIONAL DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES.

The College Offers National Diploma in the Following Courses:-
i. National Diploma in Agricultural Technology.
ii. National Diploma in Agricultural Engineering Technology..
iii. National Diploma in Animal Health and Production.
iv. National Diploma in Forestry Technology.
v. National Diploma in Home and Rural Economics.

Please, Note that Admission into the National Diploma is conducted by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB). In View of this, All Candidates seeking Admission into our National Diploma Programmes are advised to Apply and write the 206 UTME JAMB Examination In Addition, They are expected to Passes a Minimum of Four (4) Ordinary Level Credit Passes in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB in not more than Two (2) Sittings. Also, They Should Passes in English Language, Mathematics and Chemistry.

3.0 PRELIMINARY NATIONAL DIPLOMA PROGRAMME.
The Basic Entry Requirements into the Preliminary National Diploma Course in Science and Technology is Four (4) Ordinary Level passes at WAEC, NECO or NABTEB at not more than 2 sittings. The 4(Four) Passes must Includes English Language and Subjects Relevant to their proposed field of Study.
The Possible Subject Combination Includes the following:- Biology, Agric Science, Health Science, Chemistry, (Compulsory) English language, Technical drawing, Home Economics and General Science, Economics, Geography.

4.0 CERTIFICATE.
4.1 ENTRY REQUIREMENT.
Candidates seeking Admission into the one Year Certificate Programme Should have Passes WAEC, SSEC, GRADE II Teachers or Certificate or Equivalent, The following are Certificate Programmes Offered by the College:
i. Poultry Production. Vi Animal Health.
ii. Tractor Operation and Maintenance. Vii. Food and Nutrition.
iii. Produce Inspection. Viii. Silviculture.
iv. Agricultural Operation and Management. Ix. Irrigation Agronomy.
v. Meat Hygiene and Inspection.
